  • Answer telephones and disseminate information to callers, take messages and transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Independently prepare non-routine correspondence;
  • Schedule appointments and meetings;
  • Take meeting minutes and notes;
  • Make necessary arrangements in connection with scheduled meetings including travel arrangements and refreshments;
  • Utilize computer based programs to submit purchase orders, check requests, personnel status forms, position requisition forms, petty cash vouchers, reimbursement forms for business expenses, work orders, etc.;
  • Order supplies, as needed;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.




Experience and Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years prior related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and prior related experience may be required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Must possess excellent organization and communication skills;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to apply technology to resolve problems;
  • Outstanding judgment, initiative, and attention to detail are essential;
  • Must be able to manage competing priorities.
