The Position:


The Dairy Cook will prepare food items, outgoing orders and serve food to customers. This is an 1199 position and the shift would be Monday - Thursday 6:30AM - 3:00PM, Friday 6:30AM- 1:45PM.




  • Prepare breakfast items
  • Prepare lunch items; including pizza
  • Assist serving at counter
  • Maintain high level of dairy kitchen and area sanitation
  • Prepare catering jobs as requested
  • Prepare food using standard recipes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Experience and Educational Background:

  • High school diploma is required
  • 3 – 5 years related experience is required
  • NYS licensed food handler preferred
  • Knowledge of Kosher dietary laws also preferred

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good organization skills
  • Must be able to handle food according to established sanitary guidelines
  • Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner
  • Provides excellent customer service
